Finding the Feminine Path

Berkley Publishing Group, 2001. In A Woman's Journey to God: Finding the Feminine Path, Joan offers a sympathetic guide to both the unique obstacles and the unique strengths women face in their faith-lives. Given their highly intuitive nature, which makes them more inclined toward mystical experiences, and the patriarchal language that sheathes those experiences in misunderstanding, women often find at best a dysfunctional home in traditional religions. This book is a book on the interconnectedness, ritual and natural relationality that define a woman's spiritual path, and an interesting historical perspective on women and religion.
